Executive Director of Local Good

Julissa was born in California but got to Texas as fast as she could. For over two decades, her volunteer and professional work have channeled her passion for community outreach that empowers others while honoring their dignity. Julissa enjoys mobilizing people to love and serve right where they live; she also loves traveling, hiking, reading, eating seafood, and dreaming about the people who will enter the doors of existing (and still-to-come) Local Good spaces.
